New Fiction Tab

A new Fiction tab is under development for this website. Soon you will see a table of contents listing samples of my writing. The contents will change from time to time, though likely each item will stay around for a while (a month or so).

My latest project is a book of short stories surrounding the notion of The Way Home, which – as I write this – may wind up becoming the working title of the book. When I begin to post samples, you will likely see how this project needs work, and it may be a while before you see anything finalized in print.

Bucking the trend and leading the charge – one of these short stories is already finished and available on Amazon’s Kindle ebook site for 99 cents—The Legend of Cyclone Young. For details, search on my name in the ‘Kindle Book’ section. (Also keep in mind that you’ll need a Kindle reader or some other Kindle-compatible device).

In additional to my new Fiction tab, I’m also planning a separate tab for Nonfiction – likely starting with a travel series written during my daily adventures as railroad commuter trying to squeeze in a bit of photography during the darkest days of suspicion after 9/11. Beyond this, I’m considering stories about rain water, how spaceships are made, and a few other topics designed mostly for kids.

Then, far ahead on the horizon – like evidence of an approaching storm – I’m mulling how to write about the worst day of my life and how I may have launched the very first personal-events web log (still online, though no longer available for posting).

Reality has a peculiar way of avoiding schedules and planning, so these are merely my predictions for now, with no promises about actual words ever written or revealed.
